A haven of calm and beauty

Château de la Vigne has provided wonderful memories of fun and adventure for our family, spending every childhood summer in the Loire Valley since we bought the chateau in 2001.

Now as a family of adults, the chateau offers a haven of peace and tranquillity, giving us all the opportunity to take a step back from suburban life in Surrey, just outside London, where we can slow down and enjoy some simple pleasures in life – relaxing en famille, dining alfresco and taking turns to man the BBQ!

Heated swimming pool

Set in a large enclosed walled garden, the sizeable pool (12m x 6x) is an idyllic spot to relax and unwind during your stay.

You'll find plenty of sun loungers and seating surrounded by the landscaped garden flowers and foliage, as well as our beautiful summer flowering roses tumbling over two large pergolas at one end.

Explore the Countryside

Enjoy idyllic walking and cycle routes directly from our properties. We offer a range of bicycles in varying sizes so you can head out into the beautiful countryside as a large group.

With little traffic and long open roads, surrounded by sunflowers and vineyards, the cycling routes are a delightful way to enjoy the natural beauty surrounding us.

Extensive grounds with a natural maze

The properties are set in acres of private grounds offering safe woods to walk and explore.

Set off for the morning or afternoon and work your way through the natural maze surrounded by magical forests, until you reach the edge, where you can set up for a picnic with far reaching views of the adjoining fields.

This natural habit is home to birdlife, deer and hare; a true rural haven for children and adults alike to enjoy!
